Vocals/Lead Guitar
Ted began guitar before starting school at age 6 and has been playing in regional bands since the age of 12. He has been influenced by all types of music but primarily traditional country. Ted grew up listening to Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Waylon Jennings and Elvis Presley but also enjoys new generation artists, such as; Clint Black, Alan Jackson, Marty Stuart, Vince Gill, Travis Tritt and Brad Paisley.
His playing has been primarily influenced by Nashville session players; Ray Flacke, Albert Lee, Brent Mason and Reggie Young but other guitar influences, have included; Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, James Burton, Don Rich, Roy Nicholson, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, John Fogherty and Pete Anderson along with many others. Ted has had the opportunity to meet and/or play with many of these influences.
